What we do

VanityNumbers.com helps you find and get phone numbers. Toll free numbers we control directly, because we are a RespOrg and have been since 2004. Local numbers we get for you through a carrier and manage the steps for you. We show you every number we can find, not just the ones we have for sale.

Ordering and payment

Numbers are set up on the plan quoted when you order, and most of our plans are rent to own: your payments build toward owning the number outright, and once you have paid it off, the number is yours with no strings attached. Current pricing and terms are listed in our FAQ.

A few promises that apply to every order:

• You are never charged for a number we cannot get for you.
• There is only ONE of each phone number. Like any real time inventory, a number can occasionally be taken between the moment you see it and the moment we process your order. If that happens we will tell you, help you find the next best option, or refund you. Your choice.
• A real person reviews every order before it is finalized. That is on purpose.

Availability information

We search millions of numbers, and like every search engine, some of what we show is cached. We verify numbers in real time as needed and before you are ever charged. Availability shown on the site is our best current information, not a guarantee that a specific number can be obtained.

Your number

Once a number is paid off it belongs to you. You can transfer it to any phone company you want, whenever you want. While a number is still on a payment plan it remains registered to us until it is paid off, and that is exactly what protects the rent to own arrangement for both sides.

Notifications and email

If you ask us to watch a number or a category, we will email you about it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link that works. We do not sell or share your contact information with anyone. Ever.

The fine print

We work hard to get things right, but we cannot guarantee any particular number will become available, and we are not responsible for losses beyond what you actually paid us. The service is provided as is. If something goes wrong, call us. A real person will fix it or make it right.
