It’s not as black and white as you’d like

A customer asked me this today, and I realized it’s really the underlying question everyone coming to my website is trying to answer.
Although that’s a very simple, straightforward question, the real answer might not be as black and white as you’d like. If you mean is there a cheap and readily available version, no. If you mean are there literally other options I might be able to purchase for a significant amount from someone, or get for free from a local phone company in a local area code somewhere in the country, then YES.
Every number in North America
The problem stems from the fact that I don’t just show numbers I have available. I show you every toll free or local number in North America at VanityNumbers.com. And with literally billions of numbers, the reality is that it’s not as black and white as you would hope.
That’s why you have to search for things yourself, and why there’s so much information in the search results at VanityNumbers.com. Can you get obvious terms a lot of people have searched for easily and cheaply? Probably not. Can you find options if you’re creative and really dig into it? Absolutely.
One car dealer, or every car in the country
The difference is, if you walk up to a car dealer and ask him, can I get this exact make and model and color with this amount of miles, the answer is a simple yes or no (probably no). But if you’ve got the information on literally every car in the country, the answer is probably yes, but how far you have to go becomes an issue, and the answer is more nuanced.
Let us watch it for you
One way around that is to monitor specific numbers you’re interested in and let us notify you when they might become available. That’s the smartest solution, because there is no such thing as no. It might just take a little patience. So do a few searches and let us monitor a few things if you don’t see the best answers, and we’ll put the system to work for you.
Our whole goal is to answer that simple question positively, even when everyone else says no. And our other goal is to answer the next question: what’s the best number related to _____ you do have available now?
